The short version: subscription charges are generally non-refundable once billed, but cancelling any time stops future charges and you keep access until the period you paid for ends. Event packages can be refunded yourself, any time before your event date, right from your event's billing page. Details below.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals immediately, but you keep access to your plan's features until the end of the billing period you already paid for — monthly or annual. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of a billing period you've already paid for, except where required by law.
Subscriptions do not renew automatically by charging a saved card — you'll get reminder emails as your renewal date approaches, and you renew by returning to your billing page and completing a new payment. If you don't renew, your account moves to the free plan at the end of your billing period; nothing is charged without you actively completing a payment.
Event packages — extra storage, galleries, or features for a specific event — are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. You can refund an event package yourself from your event's billing page any time before that event's date, no need to contact us. Once the event date has passed, the package is no longer eligible for self-service or standard refund, since by that point the event has taken place and the package has served its purpose.
For anything not covered by self-service cancellation above — a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a subscription refund you believe is warranted — contact us through our Contact page with the date of the charge and the email address on your account. We review these individually and may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion, or as required by applicable consumer protection law.
Approved refunds are processed manually through our payment processor (WiPay) rather than automatically, since WiPay does not support instant automated refunds. Once a refund is approved, we process it as soon as possible; it can take a few business days for the funds to appear back on your original payment method, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Deactivating your account cancels any active subscription immediately, with no prorated refund for the remaining billing period. See the Account Deactivation section of our Terms of Use for the full details before you deactivate.
